FURNITURE

Must be in good condition! Make any repairs before bringing in upholstered pieces should be clean, free of pet hairs, smelling fresh, no rips. Wood pieces should be clean and dusted, screws/joints tight.

HOUSEHOLD GOODS

Dishes / glassware / candleholders - no chips or cracks, clean, free of dust
Pots and Pans - clean and free of grease, no scratched up non-stick surfaces
Kitchenware - clean, with all parts and in working condition
Baskets - clean and in good condition
Lamps - clean, working condition, any loose parts tightened
Lampshades - clean, in good condition. no ripped, burned or dried out
Suitcases / duffels / soft bags - clean, latches and zippers working
Artwork - limited selection, must be clean and frames in good shape
Linens - must be clean, no rips or holes. please let us know bedding sizes. prefer sheet sets.

NO: plastic ware, large appliances, posters/prints without frames - also see below for other items we are not taking

BOOKS AND MUSIC

Select titles. Clean and in good condition, minimal highlighting

NO: mass market paperbacks, music tapes, classical LPs

JEWELRY

Clean and in good shape. Sterling, gold, good costume and vintage. Accept donation only on broken pieces and inexpensive costume jewelry.

MAKE-UP and SKINCARE

Must be unused and current.

CLOTHING

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!

Seasonally appropriate summer or winter items may be pulled as weather changes instead of going through the entire four month cycle. All clothing must be clean, smelling fresh (smokers take note), free of pet hair and in good condition. Please check all of your clothing for rips, stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, etc. Items do not have to be freshly pressed or on hangers but the better they look the better they sell. If you want to bring us hangers we only take plastic with notches, no wire. NO: We are not taking bags of rumpled up, dirty, hairy clothing. Wedding dresses, limited formal wear, childrens clothing, socks or underpants (unless new with tags), leather jackets, leather pants, blazers, business apparel. We will be accepting only a limited number and certain styles of winter coats and jackets.

Computer equipment, exercise equipment, footbaths, electric massagers, humidifiers, air purifiers, bicycles, bicycle racks, cameras, photography developing equipment, slide projectors, most home hardware, skis, ski boots, inflatables, life jackets, wet suits, stereo equipment, quantities of tile, toilets, tubs, lumber, freestanding sinks.
